Yumi & Laurie, Inc. was founded by Laurie Suzuki. Ms. Suzuki is an entrepreneur and a mother of two.

During her travels she discovered a wonderful concept in textiles that she fell in love with. This was the inspiration behind the blanQuette™.

With persistence and passion she set out to have samples made in order to test the market. These limited samples were immediately bought by friends who absolutely loved having the blanQuette™ in their homes. This unanimous product acceptance moved Ms. Suzuki to launch Yumi & Laurie, Inc.

Ms. Suzuki recognized the growing worldwide demand for eco-friendly products. With that in mind, she developed the fabulous line of 100% certified organic blanQuettes™.
